Notary Academy hosts a renewal course for your California State notary commission — 3 hours long and Secretary of State approved. This gives you the opportunity to fulfill the state training requirement to renew your notary commission, with 2 online course options, in the convenience of your own home.

Notary Academy offers the choice of a 3 hour, monthly Live Session with an instructor on zoom, or a 3 hour Self-Paced Course to go back and review the lessons as much as you need prior to your exam. 

Our experienced instructors provide training on all of the required course materials that align with the state exam.

LIVE Zoom Courses

If you miss a LIVE class for any reason, you have 30 calendar days from the missed class to register to attend the next session.  There will be no refunds issued beyond this 30 day extension. You will need to purchase a new seat to attend a future session. 2 missed LIVE classes will result if forfeit of your payment and seat in any session.

Self-Paced Courses

There are NO refunds on the downloadable content provided immediately to you for the Self-paced 3 hour or 6 hour courses.  Upon purchase you maintain access to the curriculum for 12 months

This course is completed on your own timeline for a total of 3 hours.

Included in the course are questions to help prepare you for the state exam.

Review the content as often as needed prior to your exam.

There is no set schedule for this course and it can be taken at any time convenient to you.
